Bicyclist Suffers Critical Injuries after Hit by Pickup Truck on Sherman Way in North Hollywood

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 9, 2021) – A bicyclist suffered critical injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Sherman Way in North Hollywood area of Los Angeles early Wednesday, November 3.
 
The accident happened around 4:49 a.m. just past Ethel Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a dark colored pickup truck hit the bicyclist who was riding in lanes of traffic.
 
When officers arrived, they found the bicyclist suffering from significant injuries. As a result, firefighter paramedics rushed the victim to Holy Cross Medical Center in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Officers closed both eastbound and westbound traffic on Sherman Way while they documented the crash.
 
There was no visible headlight or taillight seen on the bike, police said. However, further investigation is underway.
