Person Hurt in Hit-and-Run DUI Bicycle Crash on 17th Avenue
SANTA CRUZ, CA (November 9, 2021) — One person was injured in a hit-and-run DUI bicycle accident on 17th Avenue and Cliff Drive Saturday.
According to deputies, the bicycle accident happened around 11:43 a.m. For DUI reasons, a driver struck a cyclist and tried to flee the scene. However, a witness followed the hit-and-run suspect, which later led to the person’s arrest.
