1 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (January 9, 2024) — At least one person was injured in a suspected high-speed multi-car accident on the 15 Freeway near Main Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 3:08 p.m. Monday. For possible speed-related reasons, a white Hyundai Elantra struck the rear of a semi-truck trailer, sending the vehicle spinning out and hitting the center divider k-rail. At some point, another vehicle described as a BMW, which sustained front-end damage, became involved in the crash.
 
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded and cared for at least one person with an injury. Due to the crash, commuters along the northbound 15 Freeway were moving at about 4 miles per hour around the crash site until Bear Valley Road when traffic resumed.
