BLUE LAKE, CA (November 28, 2023) — At least one person suffered an injury in a logging truck accident at Greenwood Avenue and Blue Lake Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 8:00 a.m. Monday. Under unclear circumstances, a loaded logging truck and an SUV crashed near the intersection.
 
Soon after, CHP, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and emergency personnel responded to assess the crash. Upon arriving, authorities found a Ford Escape with major rear-end damage and at least one person with minor injuries.
