At Least 1 Wounded in Hit-and-Run Crash at 4th Street in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 6, 2023) — At least one person was injured in a hit-and-run accident at 4th Street and N Street.
 
According to Bakersfield Police officers, the multi-car crash happened around 1:23 p.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, at least two vehicles crashed, leaving the cars with significant damage. An ambulance responded soon after and ushered one person to a nearby hospital for care.
 
However, officers believe one person fled from the scene of the collision. Police officers are now searching for the involved person and need the public’s help with locating the suspect involved.
