At Least 1 Hurt in 2-Car Crash at Lime Kiln Road in Sonora

 
SONORA, CA (June 14, 2023) — At least one person was injured in a 2-car accident at Lime Kiln Road and Highway 108.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened on June 7. For an unknown reason, two pickup trucks — a Chevy Silverado and a GMC Canyon — collided.
 
Both vehicles were seen blocking the highway and fire crews had to free one person from one of the trucks. Soon after, an ambulance arrived to assist one person with major injuries, transporting that patient to a hospital.
 
By 6:05 p.m., officers cleared the road and traffic resumed on Highway 108.
 
Authorities did not explain what led to the crash, but an investigation into the details should identify any contributing factors.
