Pedestrian Arturo Santos Dies after Struck by Car in Frazier Park

 
FRAZIER PARK, CA (December 10, 2021) – One person died in a pedestrian accident on Frazier Mountain Park Road in Frazier Park on Friday morning.
 
The man was 39-year-old Arturo Velazco Santos of Los Angeles, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
 
The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. on November 5 near Grand Terrace Estates Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck them.
 
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene.
 
The Kern County Coroner will release the identity of the victim once family members are notified.
 
It is unknown if the driver has stayed after the crash. An investigation into this fatal accident is ongoing.
