62-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Willowbrook

 
WILLOWBROOK, CA (September 7, 2023) – Arturo Gonzalez was hit and killed by a vehicle in the unincorporated Willowbrook area Sunday evening on September 3.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:13 p.m. in the 1600 block of Imperial Highway. According to the CHP, Gonzalez was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
Gonzalez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 62 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Medical-Examiner’s Office.
 
It was unknown if the vehicle’s driver stayed after the crash.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the fatality.
