Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 46 in Lost Hills Leaves 18-Year-Old Woman with Major Injuries

 
LOST HILLS, CA (June 30, 2023) – Arella Alonso was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in the Lost Hills area early Sunday morning on June 25.
 
The crash happened around 2:50 a.m. just east of Holloway Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 18-year-old victim from Hemet was driving a 2021 Nissan Versa when a speeding dark-colored 2015-2019 GMC Sierra 2500 rear-ended her car.
 
After the crash, the GMC fled the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed Alonso to Kern Medical with major injuries.
 
At this time, CHP officers are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect. They believe the GMC had major front-end damage.
