Antonio Amador Detained in DUI Car Crash on Mendocino Drive near Helen Avenue

 
UKIAH, CA (July 21, 2023) — Antonio Amador faces charges in a DUI car accident on Mendocino Drive near Helen Avenue.
 
According to Ukiah Police, the DUI crash happened at 2:00 a.m. on July 14. For DUI reasons, 25-year-old Amador crashed a vehicle into two unoccupied cars parked on the street.
 
His unconscious female passenger suffered a large cut to her head, goading paramedics to rush her to a trauma center for treatment.
 
At the scene, Amador displayed signs of intoxication. Inferring from this, police performed a toxicology test and discovered he had a blood alcohol level greater than .08%.
 
Officers booked him into the Mendocino County Jail on DUI charges.
