18-Year-Old Anthony Zuniga Dies after Jurupa Valley Car Accident on Mission Boulevard

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (January 24, 2024) – Authorities identified 18-year-old Anthony Zuniga of Rialto as the driver killed in a car accident on Mission Boulevard, Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened on January 20, at about 3:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle crashed into a tree near Wineville Avenue.
 
Emergency crews pronounced the driver of the vehicle, Zuniga, dead at the scene.
 
Responders temporarily closed Mission Boulevard between Wineville Avenue and Cornerstone Drive to make way for an investigation.
