Anthony Velazquez Detained and Jeremiah Brod Charged in Olivehurst DUI Crash

 
OLIVEHURST, CA (August 26, 2021) — Anthony Velazquez was arrested in a DUI accident on Olivehurst Avenue at 11th Avenue Sunday.
 
According to reports, 21-year-old Jeremiah Brod began driving recklessly as 22-year-old Velazquez failed to stop at the stop sign. Subsequently, Velazquez crashed into Brod’s Ford pickup.
 
Following the accident, Brod left the scene and drove to Rideout Hospital with major injuries. Meanwhile, Velazquez stayed at the scene, where paramedics took him to Rideout Hospital for treatment. However, officers learned that DUI played a role and arrested Velazquez for DUI and charged Brod for driving recklessly.
