Anai Lindsey Detained After Hijacking Bus That Collided With Cars at Georgia Street and Olympic Boulevard

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 25, 2024) — Anai Lindsey faces charges after hijacking a Metro bus that subsequently crashed into several cars at Georgia Street and Olympic Boulevard.
 
According to Los Angeles police, the crash happened around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, 24-year-old Anai Lindsey, of Nevada, brandished a gun at the bus driver, causing the driver to crash the Metro bus into several vehicles near The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
 
Subsequently, Lindsey ran from the scene, but officers captured him as he was riding a bike one hour later.
 
As a result of the crash, the bus driver and a female passenger suffered moderate injuries. Additionally, a black Mercedes-Benz sedan, an SUV and another black Mercedes sustained various damage in the collision.
