18-Year-Old Woman Dies in Lake Elsinore Head-On Crash

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (October 25, 2021) – Ana Arreola died in a head-on accident on Railroad Canyon Road in Lake Elsinore on Saturday morning.
 
The crash happened just before 10:00 a.m. on October 23, near Church Street. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, Arreola was driving westbound on Railroad Canyon Drive when she crossed over the median. A vehicle traveling eastbound then collided into her car head-on.
 
As a result, Arreola suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was an 18-year-old Quail Valley resident, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle was taken by paramedics to a hospital with moderate injuries.
 
The cause of this crash is still under investigation, and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor. Authorities asked anyone with further information to call the Lake Elsinore Sheriffs Station at 951-245-3300.
