LIVERMORE, CA (November 16, 2021) — Officials arrested 27-year-old Alfonso Garcia of Livermore after a DUI crash on Friday, November 12.
 
According to Livermore Police Sgt. Steve Goard, the crash happened around 2:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Rincon Avenue. A vehicle struck several other cars and a power pole.
 
There were no reports of injuries after the accident.
 
A man tried to flee by foot from the scene of the incident but neighbors stopped him, and police detained him.
 
Officials arrested Garcia on suspicion of driving under the influence. Reports said there are no inmates by that name in Santa Rita Jail as of late Friday morning.
