52-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle on 210 Freeway in Rialto

 
RIALTO, CA (July 14, 2023) – Alex Ray Contreras was killed in a pedestrian accident in Rialto early Monday morning on July 3.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:20 a.m. on westbound 210 Freeway, just under the Highland Avenue overpass. According to the California Highway Patrol, Contreras was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, he suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 52 years old. His city of residence was not immediately available.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. For further investigation is underway.
