Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle at Marysville Boulevard and Sonoma Avenue

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 26, 2023) – Aesjah Penn was killed in a pedestrian accident in North Sacramento Sunday evening on July 23.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:00 p.m. at Marysville Boulevard and Sonoma Avenue. According to the Sacramento Police Department, Penn was walking in the area when a vehicle struck her.
 
When officers arrived on scene, they located Penn suffering from major injuries.
 
Penn was rushed to a local hospital, where she later died. She was 27 years old.
 
The driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
An investigation is underway.
