Aden Uriostegui Killed, Sitani Pinomi Charged in DUI Pedestrian Crash on Tustin Avenue at Heim Avenue

 
ORANGE, CA (May 23, 2021) — Aden Uriostegui died in Wednesday’s DUI pedestrian accident on Tustin Avenue at Heim Avenue.
 
According to the Orange Police Department, the crash happened around 10:09 p.m. For DUI reasons, 39-year-old Sitani Pinomi struck 19-year-old Uriostegui with his Ford F-250 truck.
 
Per witnesses, the crash occurred in a marked crosswalk at the time Pinomi ran a red traffic light. Soon after, paramedics responded to help aid the victim. However, Uriostegui died at the scene.
 
Following the investigation, officers arrested Pinomi for DUI and booked him into jail. At this time, the crash requires additional investigation. However, anyone with details should contact the Orange Police Department.
