9 Sailors Hurt in Navy Aircraft Carrier Blaze in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 1, 2022) — Nine sailors were injured after a fire broke out in a US navy aircraft carrier just off the San Diego coast.
 
According to military officials, the fire erupted aboard a US Navy aircraft carrier and injured nine sailors. Just 30 miles off the southern California coast, the fire broke out Tuesday morning as the USS Abraham Lincoln was conducting a routine operation.
 
Crews were able to extinguish the fire, and the nine sailors received treatment and care on board.
