Elderly Woman Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident at Camino Del Norte in Rancho Bernardo

 
RANCHO BERNARDO, CA (January 23, 2024) — An 87-year-old woman suffered multiple injuries in a 2-car crash at Camino Del Norte and Paseo Montanoso.
 
According to the San Diego Police, the two-vehicle collision happened around 1:11 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a 24-year-old man in a 2017 Honda ran a red traffic light. Subsequently, the Honda struck a 2024 Toyota turning onto southbound Paseo Montanoso.
 
Shortly after, paramedics took an 87-year-old female Toyota passenger to a hospital for treatment. Per reports, she suffered a fractured pelvis, rib fractures and a fractured sternum. Reports did not say if her 57-year-old female driver had any injuries.
