Child Riding Scooter Suffers Injuries after Hit by Vehicle on Cedarwood Drive in Paso Robles

 
PASO ROBLES, CA (June 21, 2023) – An 8-year-old boy was injured in a scooter accident at Cedarwood Drive and Teak Drive in Paso Robles on Sunday night.
 
The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. on June 18. According to the Paso Robles Police Department, a vehicle was traveling westbound on Cedarwood Drive at approximately 10-15 mph when the boy riding a self-propelled scooter tried to cross the street.
 
The driver was unable to stop in time and hit the boy.
 
As a result, the boy suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics transported him to a hospital for treatment.
