Man Killed in Fremont Street Pedestrian Accident in Stockton
STOCKTON, CA (May 31, 2024) — A 73-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed by a car at Fremont Street and F Street.
According to Stockton police officers, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a 60-year-old driver struck the 73-year-old male pedestrian. Subsequently, Stockton Police and paramedics responded and found the driver and victim at the scene. Despite efforts to save him, medical professionals pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Officials did not release his name.
At the time of the report, officers did not explain what caused the crash. However, they believe DUI was not the cause.
