MODESTO, CA (November 28, 2022) — A 72-year-old woman suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Snyder Avenue on Tuesday, November 22.
 
According to the Modesto Police Department, the incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. near Snyder Avenue and Thornhill Way.
 
Authorities said the woman walked in the street when a white four-door sedan hit her. The vehicle occupied by a woman and a man fled the area, police said.
 
In a home security footage, it can be seen that the car struck the woman and then stopped. The driver and passenger then switched seats before they drove off as people came to see what happened.
 
Police said the pedestrian had minor to moderate injuries and is expected to be OK.
 
Police continue to investigate the incident.
