SAN DIEGO, CA (April 20, 2021) – A 71-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Northside Drive on April 16.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Friars Road around 2:15 PM.
 
Based on a report, the woman was walking near the front entrance of a store at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a gold 2003-model four-door Honda Accord struck her. Subsequently, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without helping the victim.
 
As a result, the woman suffered a fractured right femur and multiple head lacerations. Emergency crews transported her to the hospital in serious condition.
