SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 17, 2022) — Seven people were injured after 2 Muni light rail trains crashed near Brannan Street and The Embarcadero.
 
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the train crash happened around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday. For some reason, one Muni light-rail train collided with another as both were traveling in the same direction.
 
Due to the crash, up to seven people required hospital transportation for their minor injuries. In addition, the T-Third and N-Judah lines were delayed, leaving bus shuttles to carry stranded passengers to their destinations.
 
Since this crash demands more examination, the San Francisco Police Department and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency will look into the details to confirm the liabilities.
