68-Year-Old William Emeno Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Sycamore Avenue near Green Oak Road

 
VISTA, CA (August 7, 2021) — William Emeno died in a pedestrian accident on Sycamore Avenue near Green Oak Road Tuesday, July 27.
 
According to the medical examiner’s office, the fatal crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a southbound vehicle struck 68-year-old Emeno as he was walking. Soon after, medical personnel responded to the scene and transported the Vista man to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido.
 
However, despite having received life-saving efforts, Emeno died due to blunt-force injuries.
