High-Speed Crash on 805 Freeway in Chollas View Badly Injures 6-Year-Old Boy

 
CHOLLAS VIEW, CA (January 30, 2024) – A 6-year-old boy was seriously injured in a high-speed crash on 805 Freeway in Chollas View Sunday afternoon on January 28.
 
The crash happened around 4:00 p.m. at Market Street. According to the San Diego Police Department, a 29-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Yaris at a high rate of speed. She was exiting northbound when she struck a signal post in the center median.
 
As a result of the crash, the boy riding in the back seat of the car suffered serious injuries, including a right thigh fracture. He was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
There were no other injuries sustained in the crash.
 
Traffic Division officers are still investigating the accident.
