Crash Involving Bus and Sedan near Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim Hurts Five People

 
ANAHEIM, CA (May 29, 2023) – Five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Disney Way in Anaheim late Friday evening.
 
The accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. on May 26, outside the Disneyland theme park. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Lexus sedan was making a right turn from a left turn lane when it slammed into an OCTA bus carrying several passengers.
 
The bus driver told officers he was driving at about 10-15 miles per hour before having to slam on the brakes, which caused an elderly passenger to fall on the bus floor.
 
Responding paramedics took five injured people to a hospital to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
Video from the crash scene shows minor damage to the right passenger side of the Lexus and the front left bumper of the OCTA bus.
 
It was unknown whether the sedan driver would face charges. An investigation is underway.
