5 Hurt, Multi-Car Accident Sends Car Into Shop near Ventura Boulevard in Studio City

 
STUDIO CITY, CA (October 24, 2022) — Five people were injured in a multi-car crash that sent one car crashing into a store near Ventura Boulevard and Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
 
According to the Los Angeles police, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 4:00 p.m. Friday. For unknown reasons, a Dodge Challenger driver was speeding before it struck a Tesla, sending the Tesla into a parked Toyota RAV4, a parking meter and the glass storefront of BevMo.
 
Shortly after the crash, authorities responded to the scene and found five people with minor injuries and the building with severe impact. The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene for the investigation.
 
Adhwa Alruwais, the owner of the RAV4, was fortuitous enough to be across the street shopping when the accident happened. Albeit “freaked out,” she was unharmed.
