5 Hospitalized After 2 Vehicles Crash on Mono Way in Sonora

 
SONORA, CA (September 25, 2023) — Five people were injured in a 2-car accident on Mono Way near Peaceful Valley Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 2:45 p.m. Thursday.
 
For an unknown reason, a Kia Sedona and a Toyota Venza collided. As a result, both vehicles blocked the roadway, and five people, including two children, suffered injuries.
 
Following the collision, paramedics arrived and cared for the patients, most, if not all, who suffered minor injuries.
 
Reports did not say what led to the crash, but an investigation should reveal any unclear information.
