7 Hurt, Vista Chino Multi-Vehicle, Bus Collision in Palm Springs
PALM SPRINGS, CA (September 25, 2023) — Seven people were injured in a multi-car accident involving a city bus on Vista Chino near Via Roberto Miguel.
According to reports, the multi-car collision happened around 3:20 p.m. Thursday. Under unknown circumstances, three vehicles, including an Acura SUV and a Jeep, collided behind a transportation city bus.
Soon after, Palm Springs Fire Department officials responded to find the Jeep on top of a light blue sedan, which appeared damaged after being rear-ended by the Acura SUV.
In total, seven people suffered minor injuries, including four patients who received care at the scene.
Due to the accident, crews shut down eastbound Vista Chino and one westbound lane. By 5:00 p.m., authorities reopened the roadway.
