4 Cal State Fullerton Students Injured in Car Accident on Nutwood Avenue near Commonwealth Avenue

 
FULLERTON, CA (March 28, 2022) – Four Cal State Fullerton students needed hospitalization after a car accident on Nutwood Avenue near Commonwealth Avenue, early Wednesday evening.
 
According to the CSUF Police Department, the incident happened on March 23 at about 5:21 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle became involved in a collision near the College of Communications.
 
An Orange County Transportation Authority bus route 26 was also at the scene. However, it is undetermined if the bus was involved in the accident.
 
Six students were evaluated for injuries. Responders later transported four students to a nearby hospital. As per reports, two students sustained serious injuries, while the other two suffered minor to moderate injuries.
 
CSUF PD and the Fullerton Police Department continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
