4 Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run RV Crash at American Canyon Road in American Canyon

 
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (July 21, 2023) — Four people were injured in a hit-and-run RV accident at American Canyon Road and Silver Oak Trail.
 
According to the American Canyon Fire Protection District, the two-vehicle collision happened around 6:19 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a person driving a large RV struck a small sports utility vehicle before leaving the scene.
 
As a result of the crash, four people suffered moderate to major injuries. Paramedics transported the patients to a hospital for care. Meanwhile, officers closed the westbound side of American Canyon Road between Highway 29 and Flosden Road to investigate.
 
At this time, officers do not know the factors that led to the accident or the suspect involved. However, they plan to look into the details to identify any unclear information.
