3 Hospitalized in New Cuyama Rollover Crash on Highway 166

 
NEW CUYAMA, CA (June 30, 2021) — Three people were injured in a rollover accident on Highway 166 near Cottonwood Canyon Road Sunday morning.
 
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire, the two-vehicle crash happened around 5:26 am. Under unclear circumstances, the two cars crashed and overturned. As a result, three people sustained minor to major injuries.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived and transported two people to local area hospitals for immediate care.
 
At this time, authorities have yet to confirm the factors that drove the crash. Although, if anyone has more information, please contact the California Highway Patrol.
