DUARTE, CA (June 29, 2021) — A pedestrian and an officer were hit by a car at Las Lomas Road and Huntington Drive Saturday night.
 
According to reports, the accident happened around 9:31 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a vehicle heading westbound on Huntington Drive struck a person. Soon after, paramedics responded and shuttled the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, as an Irwindale police officer was directing traffic, an oncoming vehicle struck the officer under unknown circumstances.
 
At this time, news reports neither mentioned the officer’s specific injuries nor the precise circumstances that happened. However, if anyone has more information on this crash, please contact the police.
