3 Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run 2-Car Accident on Highway 1 in Nipomo

 
NIPOMO, CA (July 8, 2022) — Three people suffered injuries in a hit-and-run 2-car crash on Highway 1 near Oso Flaco Lake Road on Wednesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 6:17 a.m. Just 5 miles west of Nipomo, two cars crashed under unknown circumstances.
 
At least one of the cars, one of which was a green Volvo, sustained damage and needed towing.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded to the scene and transported three people to a hospital in Arroyo Grande as a precautionary measure.
 
At this time, authorities have not disclosed the primary cause of the crash. However, any witnesses with information should contact the CHP.
