Fuel Spill after Big Rig and Car Collide on 210 Freeway in Lake View Terrace

 
LAKE VIEW TERRACE, CA (July 8, 2022) — A fuel spill occurred after a semi-truck and car crashed on the 210 Freeway near Wheatland Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
 
For unknown reasons, a semi-truck and a car collided on the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway. As a result, approximately 100 gallons of fuel spilled across the roadway, and the big rig jackknifed.
 
Due to the accident and fuel spill, authorities closed the No. 1 and 2 lanes of the westbound freeway. At this time, reports have not indicated any injuries or the cause of the collision. However, we will update this report once we receive more information.
