PLEASANTON, CA (May 4, 2023) — Three people sustained minor injuries after a driver crashed into a restaurant on Main Street near Old Bernal Avenue Sunday afternoon.
 
According to Pleasanton Police Department officials, the car accident happened around 1:50 p.m. For reasons that require further investigation, a driver crashed a vehicle into The Everest Momo, a Nepalese restaurant on 201 Main Street.
 
The crash caused tables and chairs to knock over and left three people with minor injuries. Fortunately, neither of them required hospitalization.
 
Emergency crews arrived minutes later and extricated the vehicle from the building, which sustained structural damage. The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. It is believed that the driver got the pedals mixed up, leading to the crash. However, it’s unclear if charges will be filed.
