3 Hurt in 2-Vehicle Crash at Jackson Street in North Highlands

 
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (April 12, 2024) — Three people were injured in a two-car accident at Jackson Street and Madison Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a car driven by a minor ran a red traffic light while going northbound on Jackson Street. Subsequently, the vehicle crashed into a second car.
 
Soon after, paramedics and police officers arrived to find one woman trapped in a vehicle and the car with three minor parked near a parking lot.
 
In total, three people suffered injuries including one minor who had a broken leg.
 
Following the incident, officers investigated the accident and determined that one of the three minors left the scene. There is no other information surrounding this crash.
