3 Injured, 1 Critically After Semi-Truck Spills Tomatoes on 80 Freeway in Vacaville

 
VACAVILLE, CA (September 26, 2022) — Three people were injured after a big rig crashed and spilled tomatoes on the 80 Freeway near the 505 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened on Monday. For unknown reasons, a truck driver lost control and struck another car before hitting the center median and spilling tomatoes onto the freeway.
 
The spill caused several cars to lose control, leading to a chain-reaction collision involving four vehicles.
 
As a result of the crash, one person suffered significant injuries and two others suffered minor injuries.
 
No other information was available concerning the cause of the accident. Although, if anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
