Two Cars Collide on North Sepulveda Boulevard in Van Nuys Sending Three People to Hospital

 
VAN NUYS, CA (October 12, 2023) – Three people were hospitalized in a two-car accident on North Sepulveda Boulevard in Van Nuys early Monday evening on October 10.
 
According to Los Angeles Fire Department, two cars collided little before 6:45 p.m. near the 7900 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard. The impact caused one of the cars to veer into a light pole, trapping one of the women inside.
 
Responding firefighters were able to rescue the trapped woman. Afterwards, they transported her along with the two drivers of the cars to nearby hospitals for treatment.
 
The woman who was trapped was listed in critical condition, while the female driver of that car is in serious condition. The male driver of the other car is in fair condition, firefighters said.
 
At this time, the circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
