DUI Crash on Highway 41 in Fresno County Sends 3 People to Hospital

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (March 4, 2024) – Three people were hospitalized in a DUI crash on Highway 41 in Fresno County early Sunday morning on March 3.
 
The crash happened just after 1:00 a.m. at Floral Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford pickup truck was heading southbound on the highway when a Chevrolet Malibu ran through a stop sign on Floral Avenue.
 
The Chevrolet then hit the truck at the intersection.
 
Two people in their 50s were inside the Ford. Both suffered significant injuries to their legs.
 
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 45-year-old woman, had moderate injuries. Officers later arrested her for driving under the influence.
 
All three were taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
 
Further investigation is underway.
