OROVILLE, CA (May 10, 2023) – Two people were seriously injured after a two-car accident on Highway 70 in the Oroville area Sunday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:05 p.m. on May 7. According California Highway Patrol, two cars collided along the northbound highway for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, two people suffered serious injuries, according to CAL FIRE. One person was flown to the hospital, and a second was taken via an ambulance.
 
The crash caused major damage to both cars.
