Speeding Car Crashes into Parked Vehicles on Grove Avenue in Ontario Killing Two People
ONTARIO, CA (June 24, 2024) – Two people died and two others were injured in a high-speed crash at Grove Avenue and Sixth Street in Ontario early Saturday morning.
The fatal crash happened around 12:20 a.m. on June 22. According to the Ontario Police Department, a Honda Civic was traveling at a high rate of speed when it veered to the right and crashed into several parked cars.
Officers arrived and found four people inside the Civic, that had been partially wedged under an SUV.
Two occupants of the Civic were pronounced dead at the scene. They were not yet identified.
An additional two occupants were transported to a local hospital in unknown conditions.
All four occupants were adults, officers said.
It is still unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
