2 Hospitalized, DUI Driver Arrested after Accident at Silver Lakes Apartment in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (December 28, 2023) – Two juveniles sustained injuries in a DUI accident on Belmont Avenue, early Saturday morning.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened on December 23, at about 1:30 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle crashed into Silver Lakes Apartment on Belmont Avenue and Minnewawa Avenue.
 
Two minors inside the vehicle suffered minor injuries. Emergency crews transported the victims to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Authorities later arrested the woman driving the vehicle for suspicion of DUI.
 
Fresno police continue to investigate the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
