2 Hurt, Police Vehicle Crashes at Holland Road in Menifee

 
MENIFEE, CA (March 19, 2024) — Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a police car accident at Holland Road and Menifee Road.
 
According to Menifee Police, the two-vehicle crash happened around 9:40 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a driver of a pickup drove through a green light and crashed into a patrol vehicle that had its lights and sirens activated. As a result, both the officer and the sole occupant of the pickup suffered non-life-threatening injuries and sought hospital care.
 
According to reports, the officer was responding to a call involving a firearm at the time of the collision.
