2 Hurt in Oak Hills Accident with Big Rig on 15 Freeway

 
OAK HILLS, CA (January 11, 2022) — Two people were injured in a crash with a big rig on the 15 Freeway near Highway 395 on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a sedan, described as a Dodge Challenger, crashed into the rear of a parked semi-truck near the truck escape ramp.
 
Due to the impact, a fire erupted but the semi-truck driver was able to detach his trailer from his cab and exit with no injuries.
 
Shortly after, paramedics and a helicopter landed at the scene to tend to a female occupant of the sedan who sustained a broken leg. Another person in the car with her suffered minor injuries.
 
At this time, information as to what led to the accident requires additional investigation. However, anyone with information should reach out to the CHP.
