Big Rig and Car Collide at Road 140 in Tulare County
TULARE COUNTY, CA (November 12, 2024) — Two people were injured after a car and a semi-truck crashed at Road 140 and Avenue 248.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 4:00 a.m. Sunday. Officers believe that a man was speeding northbound on Road 140 when he ran a stop sign. Subsequently, his car collided with an oncoming big rig.
Soon after, paramedics responded and transported the male driver to a hospital with moderate injuries. The semi-truck driver reported minor wounds.
After the collision, investigators did not confirm the ultimate cause of the accident. However, they are examining this case more closely.
