2 Hurt in Car Crash at Santa Fe Avenue in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (April 19, 2022) — Two people were injured in a car accident at Santa Fe Avenue and Walnut Street Thursday afternoon.
 
According to reports, the 2-vehicle crash took place around 4:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a Jeep and a silver SUV crashed at the intersection, urging paramedics to respond to the scene. Upon arriving, authorities found one person with major injuries and a second patient with minor wounds.
 
Subsequently, paramedics requested a Mercy Air 22 helicopter to airlift the critically injured patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Meanwhile, paramedics treated the second patient for minor injuries.
 
At this time, officers have not reported on the cause of the 2-car accident. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm any unclear details. Thus, anyone with information should reach out to the Hesperia Police department.
