One Sustained Injury after Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 166 and Black Road

 
SANTA MARIA, CA (April 19, 2022) — One person suffered a minor injury following a multi-car crash on Highway 166 on Friday, April 15.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 1:25 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 166 and Black Road.
 
Reports said officers received a call about a head-on collision between a Honda sedan and a Chevrolet taco truck on Highway 166.
 
In addition to CHP units, emergency responders including the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office and an American Medical Response ambulance also arrived at the area.
 
Reports said officers found one person lying on the side of the roadway. Medics treated the person at the scene.
 
Logs show that a third vehicle, described as a Ford, also had critical damage in the crash. Crews towed all three vehicles, including the Civic and the Chevrolet, from the scene.
 
The CHP investigates the cause of the collision.
